open outlook "tasks" folder go to view > arrange by > modified to put customized in field of task folder open view go to arrange by select custom select fields select modified from available fields move to show fields in this order put modified first subject status due date other options %complete categories flag every task assign a person or due date use the detailed list on a regular basis use task time line every morning ( can be the to do list) ( timeline is not a good place to enter tasks) search by top right of task box (everything is searchable and organize able) put a date at end of each task (can use phrase express) marks program take recording of tasks all day on phone voice recorder 1st thing everyday put the tasks in task folder and assign tasks date each task put key searchable words in each task projects are usually the first word so the project notes come up together review task time line daily trying to eliminate as many tasks as possible ask for status updates can mark complete but keep record when in meetings with people pull their names and get updates when reviewing a project or on phone about project put the name of project in search field to review all pertinent notes files can be used to keep track of sales calls phone calls resources reminders due dates you can have reoccurring tasks come up on a regular basis emails can be moved into task files easily can have separate personnel and business files can pull up limited tasks that are sorted that have more than one key word will only pull if those key words are in the task (you can pull up all tasks that have a key word by inserting or between them or a phrase or more than one word by putting " " around the phrase)
